Direction 1: Respond promptly

The production tasks in the ERP system enter the dispatch management of the MES system. The MES can collect data timely and accurately, including manual and automatic collection on the workshop site. No matter which data collection method is used, it will be more efficient than in the ERP system. The dispatch management and material management of MES can prepare the internal logistics of the warehouse and workshop in advance, plan the preparation time and the time of the machine as a whole, so that the upper and lower processes can be seamlessly connected. Direction 2: Automatic collection

Many people think that data collection is a category of intelligence. In fact, it only realizes automation. The data collection system includes: production data collection (yield, etc.), environmental data collection (PH value, dust, workshop temperature, etc.), quality data collection (First inspection data, patrol inspection data, automatic quality inspection equipment data, etc.), equipment status data collection (startup, failure, maintenance, shutdown, etc.), equipment physical parameter data collection (speed, pressure, temperature, etc.), attendance data collection ( Face recognition, punch card machine, fingerprint machine, etc.). The information collected by the MES system is comprehensive and complete, and automatic collection can be realized by adding certain manual operations to equipment docking.

The workshop material demand plan can be generated according to the production dispatch plan of the MES. The MES system is connected with the workshop logistics AGV and WMS. Demand instructions and distribution instructions can be automatically pushed, so that the overall planning time of each link can be maximized; equipment operation abnormal data And the maintenance time can be automatically reminded; the quality data can be automatically warned in advance. The reminding methods include tri-color lights and buzzers, which can eliminate the risk of affecting the smooth progress of production to the greatest extent.

Direction 3: Intelligent and precise

Collecting, analyzing, and self-learning the collected data can be called intelligence. This requires the use of the BI platform to analyze the data results, track the causes, and effectively transform the empirical data into a knowledge base. At present, this part of the printing industry is still in the exploratory stage, but it has done a good job in many other industries, so it is not safe to jump out of the printing industry to look at printing.

Let’s look at an example. Printing a certain product on a certain machine, how long does the entire printing process take, how many sheets are printed, how much ink is consumed, etc. After a period of data accumulation in the MES system, after BI analysis, it is difficult to calculate the ink configuration. The ratio will be more accurate, the weight gain is the best in what range, and the transportation time can be considered comprehensively, and the material can be prepared and transported in time without occupying too much buffer space in the workshop. In this way, time can be fully utilized, space must be saved, quality must be controlled, and experience data must be transformed.

Similarly, combined with BI, if the actual relevant process parameters collected by the Xinhai Zhiqiao MES system are more optimized than the original parameters, then it can be reminded to improve the existing BOM, and it can guide the follow-up when the same product type is made later. BOM is generated quickly and accurately. Of course, there are more data for mining and transforming into applications, so I won't list them all here.

When the MES system is gradually recognized by everyone in the printing industry, its application value will be maximized, the work efficiency and product quality of the workshop will be improved, and the actual measures to reduce production costs will become simpler, smarter and more accurate data.
